ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ (shivamogga), ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 16: ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ನಗರದ ಪೂರ್ವ ಸಂಚಾರಿ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯ ಶಿವಪ್ಪನಾಯಕ ವೃತ್ತದ ಬಳಿ, ಆಟೋ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಕರ ಅನುಕೂಲಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಆಟೋ ಪ್ರೀ – ಪೇಯ್ಡ್ ಕೌಂಟರ್ ಆರಂಭಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಇಲಾಖೆಯು ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಜನಸ್ನೇಹಿ ಕಾರ್ಯ ಮಾಡಿದೆ.
ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 15 ರಂದು ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ರಕ್ಷಣಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ನಿಖಿಲ್ ಬಿ ಅವರು ಸದರಿ ಕೌಂಟರ್ ನ್ನು ಆಟೋ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಕರಿಗೆ ಮುಕ್ತಗೊಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಎಸ್ಪಿ ಕಾರಿಯಪ್ಪ, ಡಿವೈಎಸ್ಪಿ ಸಂಜೀವ್ ಕುಮಾರ್, ಟ್ರಾಫಿಕ್ ಇನ್ಸ್’ಪೆಕ್ಟರ್ ದೇವರಾಜ್ ಟಿ ವಿ, ಸಬ್ ಇನ್ಸ್’ಪೆಕ್ಟರ್ ಗಳಾದ ಅಕ್ಬರ್ ಮುಲ್ಲಾ, ಭಾರತಿ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.
ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ರೂರಲ್ ಡೆವಲಪ್’ಮೆಂಟ್ ಸೊಸೈಟಿ, ಸಾರಿಗೆ ಇಲಾಖೆ, ಭೀಮಾ ಗೋಲ್ಡ್ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಸಹಯೋಗದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸದರಿ ಆಟೋ ಪ್ರೀ – ಪೇಯ್ಡ್ ಕೌಂಟರ್ ನ್ನು ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಇಲಾಖೆ ಆರಂಭಿಸಿದೆ.
‘ಆಟೋ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಕರ ಸುರಕ್ಷತೆ, ನಿಗದಿತ ದರಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಶುಲ್ಕ ವಸೂಲಿಗೆ ಕಡಿವಾಣ ಹಾಕುವುದು, ಪಾರದರ್ಶಕ ಬಾಡಿಗೆ ಪಾವತಿ ಉದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದ ಸದರಿ ಪ್ರೀ – ಪೇಯ್ಡ್ ಕೌಂಟರ್ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದರ ಸದುಪಯೋಗವನ್ನು ಆಟೋ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಕರು ಪಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ’ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಇಲಾಖೆ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ಪ್ರಕಟಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿದೆ.
Shimoga: Auto Pre-Paid Counter Near Shivappa Nayaka Circle – Another Citizen-Friendly Initiative by Police!
Shimoga, August 16: In a move to benefit auto passengers, the police department has launched an auto pre-paid counter near Shivappa Nayaka Circle, under the jurisdiction of the East Traffic Police Station.
On August 15, District Superintendent of Police Nikhil B inaugurated the counter for public use. On the occasion, ASP Kariappa, DySP Sanjeev Kumar, Traffic Inspector Devaraj T.V., and Sub-Inspectors Akbar Mulla and Bharati were present.
The counter has been set up by the police department in collaboration with Shimoga Rural Development Society, the Transport Department, and Bhima Gold organization.
According to the police press release: “The pre-paid counter has been established to ensure passenger safety, prevent overcharging beyond fixed fares, and promote transparent fare payment. Auto passengers are encouraged to make use of this facility.”
