ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ (shivamogga), ಮಾರ್ಚ್ 31: ಸಿಡಿಲು ಬಡಿದು ವ್ಯಾಪಾರಿಯೋರ್ವರು ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಮೃತಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದು, ಅಂಗಡಿಗೂ ಬೆಂಕಿ ಹೊತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡ ಘಟನೆ ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ತಾಲೂಕಿನ ರಾಮನಗರ ಗ್ರಾಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೋಮವಾರ ಸಂಜೆ ನಡೆದಿದೆ.
ಹಾರನಹಳ್ಳಿ ಗ್ರಾಮದ ನಿವಾಸಿ ಶೇಖ್ ಮುಜಿಬುರ್ ರೆಹಮಾನ್ (45) ಮೃತಪಟ್ಟ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿ ಎಂದು ಗುರುತಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಇವರು ರಾಮನಗರದ ಬಸ್ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣ ಸಮೀಪದ ಮರದ ಕೆಳಗೆ ಕೋಳಿ ಅಂಗಡಿಯಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದರು. ಸಂಜೆ ಗ್ರಾಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಗುಡುಗು ಸಹಿತ ಭಾರೀ ಮಳೆಯಾಯಿತು.
ಈ ವೇಳೆ ಶೇಖ್ ಮುಜಿಬುರ್ ರೆಹಮಾನ್ ಅವರ ಅಂಗಡಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಮರಕ್ಕೂ ಸಿಡಿಲು ಬಡಿದಿದೆ. ಅಂಗಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಶೇಖ್ ಮುಜಿಬುರ್ ರೆಹಮಾನ್ ಅವರು ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಕುಸಿದು ಬಿದ್ದು ಅಸುನೀಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಅಂಗಡಿಗೆ ಬೆಂಕಿ ಬಿದ್ದ ಪರಿಣಾಮದಿಂದ ಕೋಳಿಗಳು ಸುಟ್ಟು ಹೋಗಿವೆ. ಘಟನಾ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಕುಂಸಿ ಠಾಣೆ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಭೇಟಿಯಿತ್ತು ಪರಿಶೀಲನೆ ನಡೆಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
Shivamogga: Lightning strike kills trader, shop catches fire!
Shivamogga, March 31: A trader died instantly after being struck by lightning, and his shop caught fire in an incident that occurred on Monday evening at Ramanagara village in Shivamogga taluk.
The deceased has been identified as Sheikh Mujibur Rehman (45), a resident of Ramanagara village.
He had set up a chicken shop under a tree near the Ramanagara bus stand. On Monday evening, heavy rain with thunder struck the village.
During this time, lightning hit both the tree and the shop. Sheikh Mujibur Rehman, who was inside the shop, collapsed on the spot and died.
The shop also caught fire, resulting in the chickens being burnt. Police from Kumsi station visited the site and conducted an inspection.
