ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ (shivamogga), ಮೇ 21: ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿವಿಧ ಕಾರಣಗಳಿಂದ ರದ್ದಾಗಿರುವ ಸರಿಸುಮಾರು 5 ಸಾವಿರ ಬಿಪಿಎಲ್ ಪಡಿತರ ಚೀಟಿಗಳನ್ನು ಪುನರ್ ಪರಿಶೀಲಿಸಬೇಕು. ಬಡವರಿಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯ ಒದಗಿಸಿಕೊಡಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ರಾಜ್ಯ ಜವಳಿ ನಿಮಗದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರೂ ಆದ ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಮುಖಂಡ ಕೆ ಚೇತನ್ ಅವರು ಆಹಾರ ಸಚಿವ ಕೆ ಹೆಚ್ ಮುನಿಯಪ್ಪ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಈ ಸಂಬಂಧ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಆಹಾರ ನಿಗಮದ ಕಚೇರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮೇ 21 ರಂದು ಕೆ ಚೇತನ್ ಅವರು ಸಚಿವರನ್ನು ಭೇಟಿಯಾಗಿ ಮನವಿ ಪತ್ರ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ನಾನಾ ಕಾರಣಗಳ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಮಾರು 5 ಸಾವಿರ ಬಿಪಿಎಲ್ ಪಡಿತರ ಚೀಟಿಗಳು ರದ್ದಾಗಿವೆ. ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ಬಡವರು, ಕೂಲಿಕಾರ್ಮಿಕರ ಕಾರ್ಡ್ ಗಳು ಇವೆ. ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಿಂದ ವಸ್ತು ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯ ಪರಿಶೀಲನೆ ನಡೆಸಿ, ಅರ್ಹ ಫಲಾನುಭವಿಗಳ ಕಾರ್ಡ್ ಗಳನ್ನು ಮತ್ತೆ ಮರು ಚಾಲನೆಗೊಳಿಸಿ ಕೊಡಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
‘ಮನವಿ ಆಲಿಸಿದ ನಂತರ ಸಚಿವರು ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, ಈ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಪರಿಶೀಲಿಸಿ ಅಗತ್ಯ ಕ್ರಮಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗುವುದು. ಅರ್ಹ ಫಲಾನುಭವಿಗಳಿಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯ ಕಲ್ಪಿಸಲಾಗುವುದೆಂದು ಭರವಸೆ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ’ ಎಂದು ಕೆ ಚೇತನ್ ಅವರು ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಮನವಿ ಅರ್ಪಿಸುವ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾವೇರಿ ಹ್ಯಾಂಡ್ ಲೂಮ್ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಗಣೇಶ್ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಇತರರು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.

*** ‘ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ನಗರದ ಹೊರವಲಯ ಗೋಪಾಳಗೌಡ ಬಡಾವಣೆ ಬಳಿ ಆಹಾರ ಇಲಾಖೆಯ ಅನೌಪಚಾರಿಕ ಪಡಿತರ ಕಚೇರಿ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಹಣೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಸದರಿ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ತೆರಳಲು ನಾಗರಿಕರು ತೀವ್ರ ತೊಂದರೆ ಪಡುವಂತಾಗಿದೆ. ಸೂಕ್ತ ಸಿಟಿ ಬಸ್ ಗಳ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯೂ ಇಲ್ಲದಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ದುಬಾರಿ ಹಣ ತೆತ್ತು ಬಾಡಿಗೆ ವಾಹನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಓಡಾಡುವಂತಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸದರಿ ಕಚೇರಿಯನ್ನು ವಿನೋಬನಗರ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಚೌಕಿ ಸರ್ಕಲ್ ಸಮೀಪದ ಪ್ರಾಧಿಕಾರದ ಕಟ್ಟಡಕ್ಕೆ ಸ್ಥಳಾಂತರಿಸಬೇಕು. ಇದರಿಂದ ನಾಗರಿಕರಿಗೆ ಸಾಕಷ್ಟು ಅನುಕೂಲವಾಗಲಿದೆ’ ಎಂದು ಮುಖಂಡ ಕೆ ಚೇತನ್ ಅವರು ಆಹಾರ ಇಲಾಖೆ ಸಚಿವರಿಗೆ ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈ ಕುರಿತಂತೆ ಕಾಲಮಿತಿಯೊಳಗೆ ಕ್ರಮಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳುವ ಭರವಸೆಯನ್ನು ಆಹಾರ ಸಚಿವರು ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಕೆ ಚೇತನ್ ಅವರು ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
More than 5,000 BPL cards cancelled in Shivamogga: What assurance did the Food Minister give to leader Chetan’s request?
Shivamogga, May 21: Approximately 5,000 BPL ration cards cancelled due to various reasons in Shivamogga city should be reviewed. Shivamogga Congress leader K Chetan, who is also the president of the State Textile Corporation, has appealed to Food Minister K H Muniyappa to provide justice to the poor.
In this regard, K Chetan met the minister at the Bengaluru Food Corporation office on May 21 and submitted a petition.
About 5,000 BPL ration cards have been cancelled due to various reasons. These include cards of the poor and wage laborers. He has requested that the officials should conduct a material inspection and reissue the cards of the eligible beneficiaries.
‘After listening to the appeal, the minister spoke and said that necessary action will be taken after examining this matter. K Chethan has informed that justice will be done to the deserving beneficiaries. While presenting the petition, Cauvery Handloom President Ganesh and others were present.
Petition to shift Food Department office to Vinobanagar | *** ‘The informal ration office of the Food Department is functioning near Gopalgowda Layout on the outskirts of Shivamogga city. Citizens are facing severe difficulty in reaching the said place. Since there is no proper city bus system, they have to travel in rented vehicles at high cost. In this context, the said office should be shifted to the authority building near Vinobanagar Police Chowki Circle. This will greatly facilitate the citizens,’ said leader K Chethan, appealing to the Food Department Minister. The Food Minister has assured to take action in this regard within a time frame, K Chethan said.
