ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ (shivamogga), ಮಾರ್ಚ್ 06: ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯರವರು ಮಾರ್ಚ್ 06 ರಂದು ಮಂಡಿಸಿದ ಬಜೆಟ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ, ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಹಲವು ಮಹತ್ವದ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಆದ್ಯತೆ ದೊರಕಿಲ್ಲ. ಅನುದಾನವೂ ಲಭ್ಯವಾಗಿಲ್ಲ. ಇದರಿಂದ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದ ಹಲವು ಮಹತ್ವದ ಜನಪರ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳು ನೆನೆಗುದಿಗೆ ಬೀಳುವಂತಾಗಿದೆ.
ಈ ಹಿಂದೆ ಯಡಿಯೂರಪ್ಪ ಸಿಎಂ ಆಗಿದ್ದ ಅವಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಂಡನೆಯಾದ ಬಜೆಟ್ ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ, ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಗೆ ಅತೀ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಪ್ರಾತಿನಿಧ್ಯತೆ ದೊರಕುತ್ತಿತ್ತು. ಭಾರೀ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಪ್ರಮಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಅನುದಾನ ಲಭ್ಯವಾಗುತ್ತಿತ್ತು. ಅದೆಷ್ಟೊ ಬಾರಿ ಇದು ವಿಪಕ್ಷಗಳ ಕೆಂಗಣ್ಣಿಗೆ ಗುರಿಯಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಬಜೆಟ್ ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗಕ್ಕೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಆದ್ಯತೆ ನೀಡಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎಂಬ ಟೀಕೆಗಳು ವ್ಯಕ್ತವಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದವು.
“ಆದರೆ ಇತ್ತೀಚಿಗಿನ ಬಜೆಟ್ ಗಳು ಗಮನಿಸಿದರೆ, ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಗೆ ಲಭ್ಯವಾಗುತ್ತಿರುವ ಆದ್ಯತೆ ಅತ್ಯಲ್ಪವಾಗಿದೆ. ಕೆಲವೊಮ್ಮೆ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ನಗಣ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಪರಿಣಮಿಸಿದೆ. ‘ಈ ಹಿಂದೆ ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗಕ್ಕೆ ಬೇಕಾದಷ್ಟು ಲಭ್ಯವಾಗಿದೆ. ಮತ್ತೇಕೆ ನೀಡಬೇಕು?’ ಎಂಬ ಧೋರಣೆ ಆಡಳಿತಗಾರರಲ್ಲಿ ಮನೆ ಮಾಡಿದಂತೆ ಕಂಡುಬರುತ್ತಿದೆ.
ಈ ರೀತಿಯ ಧೋರಣೆಯಿಂದ ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದ ಅದೆಷ್ಟೊ ಜನಪರ, ಆಡಳಿತ ಸ್ನೇಹಿ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳು ಇತ್ತೀಚಿಗಿನ ವರ್ಷಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ನೆನೆಗುದಿಗೆ ಬೀಳುವಂತಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದರಿಂದ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ದಿಯ ಮೇಲೂ ಪರಿಣಾಮ ಬೀರುವಂತಾಗಿದೆ’ ಎಂಬ ದೂರುಗಳು ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಪ್ರಜ್ಞಾವಂತ ನಾಗರೀಕರದ್ದಾಗಿದೆ.
ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದ್ದೇನು? : ಈ ಹಿಂದೆ ಘೋಷಣೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದ್ದ ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ವಿಮಾನ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಫ್ಲೈಟ್ ಟ್ರೈನಿಂಗ್ ಸ್ಕೂಲ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಏರ್’ಕ್ರಾಫ್ಟ್ ಮ್ಯಾನುಫ್ಯಾಕ್ಚರಿಂಗ್ ಘಟಕ ಸ್ಥಾಪನೆಯ ಪ್ರಸ್ತಾಪವನ್ನು ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ಬಜೆಟ್ ನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಉಳಿದಂತೆ ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿಂದುಳಿದ ವರ್ಗಗಳ ಕಲ್ಯಾಣ ಇಲಾಖೆಯಿಂದ 150 ಸಂಖ್ಯಾಬಲದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ನಿಲಯಗಳ ಸ್ಥಾಪನೆ, ಭದ್ರಾವತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಳಚರಂಡಿ ಯೋಜನೆ ಅನುಷ್ಠಾನ, ಕುವೆಂಪು ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಯು ಆರ್ ಅನಂತಮೂರ್ತಿ ಅಧ್ಯಯನ ಪೀಠ ಸ್ಥಾಪನೆಯ ಘೋಷಣೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ನೆನೆಗುದಿಗೆ? : ಸಾವಿರಾರು ಬಡ ರೋಗಿಗಳ ಆಶಾಕಿರಣವಾಗಿರುವ ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ನಗರದ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಮೆಗ್ಗಾನ್ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯನ್ನು ಮಧ್ಯ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಭಾಗದ ಸೂಪರ್ ಸ್ಪೆಷಾಲಿಟಿ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯಾಗಿ ಮೇಲ್ದರ್ಜೆಗೇರಿಸುವುದು, ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣ ಬೇಡಿಕೆ, ಭದ್ರಾವತಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಸ್ವಾಮ್ಯದ ಎಂಪಿಎಂ ಕಾರ್ಖಾನೆ ಪುನಶ್ಚೇತನ ಯೋಜನೆ,
ಭದ್ರಾವತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಎಂಜಿನಿಯರಿಂಗ್ ಕಾಲೇಜ್ ಸ್ಥಾಪನೆ, ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ – ಭದ್ರಾವತಿ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಕಮೀಷನರೇಟ್ ಸ್ಥಾಪನೆ, ಸಾಗರ ನೂತನ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಘೋಷಣೆ, ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ನಗರ – ಗ್ರಾಮಾಂತರ – ಹೊಳೆಹೊನ್ನೂರು – ಆನವಟ್ಟಿ ತಾಲೂಕು ಕೇಂದ್ರಗಳ ರಚನೆ, ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ನಗರಕ್ಕೆ ಎರಡನೇ ಹಂತದ ಕುಡಿಯುವ ನೀರು ಪೂರೈಕೆ ಯೋಜನೆ, ಆಯುಷ್ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯ ಕಾರ್ಯಾರಂಭ,
ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ – ಶಿಕಾರಿಪುರ – ರಾಣೆಬೆನ್ನೂರು ರೈಲ್ವೆ ಯೋಜನೆ, ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ – ಹರಿಹರ ರೈಲ್ವೆ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳಿಗೆ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಪಾಲಿನ ಅನುದಾನ, ಕೈಗಾರಿಕೆಗಳ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಗೆ ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕ ಕೈಗಾರಿಕಾ ಕಾರಿಡಾರ್ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣ, ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ವಿವಿಧೆಡೆ ಏತ ನೀರಾವರಿ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಅನುದಾನ, ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಮಾದರಿಯಾದ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಡಳಿತ ಭವನ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ಅನುದಾನ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಹಲವು ಯೋಜನೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಹಾಲಿ ಬಜೆಟ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಆದ್ಯತೆ ದೊರಕಿಲ್ಲವಾಗಿದೆ. #shimoga #shivamogga #shimoganews #budget #statebudget #budgetnews #shimoganewsupdate #shimogacrimenews #shivamogganews #shivamogga #ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ

Budget: Shivamogga District Loses Priority! | Shivamogga, March 06: In the budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on March 06, several important projects for Shivamogga district have not been given priority. No grants have been allocated. As a result, many significant public welfare programs related to the district are likely to be shelved.
During the tenure of former CM Yediyurappa, Shivamogga district used to receive the highest representation in the budgets. Large-scale grants were allocated. Many times, this drew criticism from the opposition, who alleged that Shivamogga was being given undue priority.
“But if we look at the recent budgets, the priority given to Shivamogga district has been minimal. Sometimes it has been completely negligible. It seems the attitude of the administration is: ‘Shivamogga has already received enough earlier, why give more now?’
Due to this approach, many public-friendly and administration-friendly projects related to Shivamogga district have been completely shelved in recent years. This has also impacted the district’s development,” complain the conscious citizens of the district.
What was received? The proposal to establish a Flight Training School and Aircraft Manufacturing Unit at the already announced Shivamogga Airport has been mentioned in the current budget. Apart from this, the establishment of 150 student hostels by the Department of Backward Classes Welfare in Shivamogga district, implementation of a drainage project in Bhadravati, and the announcement of a U.R. Ananthamurthy Study Chair at Kuvempu University have been included.
What was shelved? Upgrading the government McGann Hospital in Shivamogga city into a Super Specialty Hospital for the central Karnataka region, the demand for another district government hospital in Shivamogga city, revival of the government-owned MPM factory in Bhadravati, establishment of a government engineering college in Bhadravati, creation of a Shivamogga–Bhadravati Police Commissionerate, declaration of Sagar as a new district center, formation of new taluk centers at Shivamogga city–rural, Holehonnuuru, and Anavatti, second-phase drinking water supply project for Shivamogga city, commencement of AYUSH University, state share of grants for Shivamogga–Shikaripura–Ranebennur railway project and Shivamogga–Harihar railway project, construction of a separate industrial corridor for industrial growth, grants for lift irrigation projects across the district, and construction of a model district administration building in Shivamogga city have all been left out in the current budget.
Summary of what Shivamogga got in the budget:
