ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ (shivamogga), ಏಪ್ರಿಲ್ 05: ಕಳೆದ 33 ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯದ ವಿಚಾರಣೆಗೆ ಹಾಜರಾಗದೆ ತಲೆಮರೆಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ನಿವಾಸಿಯೋರ್ವರನ್ನು, ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗದ ಕೋಟೆ ಠಾಣೆ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಬಂಧಿಸಿದ ಘಟನೆ ನಡೆದಿದೆ.
ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಇಟ್ಟಮಡು ಏರಿಯಾದ ನಿವಾಸಿ ವಿಗ್ನೇಶ್ (62) ಬಂಧಿತ ಆರೋಪಿ ಎಂದು ಗುರುತಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಕೋಟೆ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆ ಗುನ್ನೆ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ 99/1989 ರ ಐಪಿಸಿ ಕಲಂ 324, 326 ಸಹಿತ 34 ರ ಅಡಿ ಆರೋಪಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದರು.
ಇವರು ಕಳೆದ 33 ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯದ ವಿಚಾರಣೆಗೆ ಹಾಜರಾಗದೆ ತಲೆಮರೆಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದರು. ಈ ಸಂಬಂಧ ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗದ ಪಿಸಿಜೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಿಜೆಎಂ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯವು ಎಲ್’ಪಿಆರ್ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ 13/1993 ರಲ್ಲಿ ಆರೋಪಿ ವಿರುದ್ದ ದಸ್ತಗಿರಿ ವಾರೆಂಟ್ ಹೊರಡಿಸಿತ್ತು.
ಕೋಟೆ ಠಾಣೆ ಇನ್ಸ್’ಪೆಕ್ಟರ್ ಹರೀಶ್ ಕೆ ಪಟೇಲ್ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಿಎಸ್ಐ ಸಂತೋಷ್ ಭಾಗೋಜಿ, ಹೆಚ್ ಸಿ ಗಳಾದ ಧನಂಜಯ್, ಚಂದ್ರುರವರು ಆರೋಪಿಯನ್ನು ಬಂಧಿಸಿ, 4/4/2026 ರಂದು ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಹಾಜರುಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆರೋಪಿಯನ್ನು ನ್ಯಾಯಾಂಗ ವಶಕ್ಕೊಪ್ಪಿಸಿ ಕೋರ್ಟ್ ಆದೇಶ ಹೊರಡಿಸಿದೆ.
Bengaluru man arrested after evading court for 33 years!
Shivamogga, April 05: A Bengaluru resident who had been absconding for 33 years without appearing for court hearings has been arrested by Shivamogga’s Kote Police Station officers.
The arrested accused has been identified as Vignesh (62), a resident of Ittamadu area in Bengaluru. He was charged under IPC Sections 324, 326, and 34 in case number 99/1989 registered at Kote Police Station.
Despite being summoned, he had been evading court proceedings for over three decades. In connection with this, the Shivamogga PCJ and CJM Court had issued an arrest warrant (LPR No. 13/1993) against him.
Under the leadership of Inspector Harish K Patel, PSI Santosh Bhagoji, and Head Constables Dhananjay and Chandru arrested the accused and produced him before the court on April 4, 2026. The accused has now been remanded to judicial custody as per the court’s order.
