ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ (shivamogga), ಏಪ್ರಿಲ್ 06: ಗಂಗಾಕಲ್ಯಾಣ ಯೋಜನೆಯಡಿ ಕೊಳವೆ ಬಾವಿ ಕೊರೆಯಿಸಲು ಲಂಚ ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ವೇಳೆ ಲೋಕಾಯುಕ್ತ ಪೊಲೀಸರ ಬಲೆಗೆ ಬಿದ್ದಿದ್ದ, ದೇವರಾಜ ಅರಸು ಹಿಂದುಳಿದ ವರ್ಗಗಳ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ನಿಗಮದ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥಾಪಕ ಆರ್.ಎಸ್. ಪರಮೇಶ್ವರಪ್ಪ ಎಂಬುವವರಿಗೆ, ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗದ 1 ನೇ ಹೆಚ್ಚುವರಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಮತ್ತು ಸತ್ರ ಹಾಗೂ ವಿಶೇಷ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯವು 2 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಕಾರಾಗೃಹ ಶಿಕ್ಷೆ ಹಾಗೂ 40,000 ರೂ. ದಂಡ ವಿಧಿಸಿ ಏಪ್ರಿಲ್ 02 ರಂದು ತೀರ್ಪು ನೀಡಿದೆ.
ಈ ಕುರಿತಂತೆ ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಲೋಕಾಯುಕ್ತ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಅಧೀಕ್ಷಕರು ಏಪ್ರಿಲ್ 06 ರಂದು ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ಪ್ರಕಟಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಏನೀದು ಪ್ರಕರಣ? : ಸಾಗರ ತಾಲೂಕು ಹೊಸಗುಂದ ವಾಸಿ ಹೆಚ್.ಎಸ್.ಜನಾರ್ದನ ಎಂಬುವರಿಂದ, ಜುಲೈ 2017 ರಲ್ಲಿ ಸದರಿ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಯು ತಮ್ಮ ಕಚೇರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ 10,000 ರೂ. ಲಂಚದ ಹಣ ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಗ ಲೋಕಾಯುಕ್ತ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಟ್ರ್ಯಾಪ್ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದರು.
ಲೋಕಾಯುಕ್ತ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಉಪಾಧೀಕ್ಷಕ ಎ. ಚಂದ್ರಪ್ಪರವರು ಪ್ರಕರಣದ ತನಿಖೆ ನಡೆಸಿದ್ದರು. ಅಧಿಕಾರಿ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಆರೋಪಪಟ್ಟಿ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಪರವಾಗಿ ವಿಶೇಷ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಅಭಿಯೋಜಕ ಎಂ.ಡಿ.ಸುಂದರ್ ರಾಜ್ ಅವರು ವಾದ ಮಂಡಿಸಿದ್ದರು.
Shivamogga: R.S. Parameshwarappa sentenced to 2 years in jail for bribery!
Shivamogga, April 06: R.S. Parameshwarappa, District Manager of the Devaraj Urs Backward Classes Development Corporation, was caught red-handed by Lokayukta police while accepting a bribe under the Gangakalyana scheme for drilling a borewell. The 1st Additional District and Sessions Special Court in Shivamogga has sentenced him to 2 years imprisonment and imposed a fine of ₹40,000.
According to a press release issued by the Shivamogga Karnataka Lokayukta Superintendent of Police on April 06, the case dates back to July 2017. At that time, the officer was trapped by Lokayukta police while accepting a bribe of ₹10,000 in his office from H.S. Janardhan, a resident of Hosagunda in Sagar taluk.
The investigation was conducted by Lokayukta Deputy Superintendent of Police A. Chandrappa, who filed the chargesheet against the accused officer. Special Public Prosecutor M.D. Sundar Raj argued the case on behalf of the government.
