ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ (shivamogga), ಮೇ 06 : ಭದ್ರಾ ಜಲಾಶಯದಿಂದ ಬೇಸಿಗೆ ಹಂಗಾಮಿನ ಬೆಳೆಗಳಿಗೆ, ಬಲದಂಡ ಮತ್ತು ಎಡದಂಡೆ ಕಾಲುವೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನೀರು ಹರಿಸುವುದನ್ನು ಮೇ 17ರವರೆಗೆ ಮುಂದುವರಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು ಎಂದು ಭದ್ರಾ ಯೋಜನಾ ನೀರಾವರಿ ಸಲಹಾ ಸಮಿತಿ ಸದಸ್ಯ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿಗಳು ಪ್ರಕಟಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ.
ಕಾಲುವೆ ಪಾತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರು ಮತ್ತು ರೈತರು ತಿರುಗಾಡುವುದು, ದನಕರುಗಳನ್ನು ತೊಳೆಯುವುದು ಮತ್ತು ದೈನಂದಿನ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವುದನ್ನು ನಿಷೇಧಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಅಚ್ಚುಕಟ್ಟು ಭಾಗದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ರೈತರುಗಳು ಇಲಾಖೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಹಕರಿಸುವಂತೆ ಮೇ 6 ರಂದು ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ಪ್ರಕಟಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಿಳಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
Water to continue from Bhadra reservoir to canals till May 17
Shivamogga, May 06: The release of water from Bhadra reservoir to summer crops in the right and left bank canals will continue till May 17, the member secretaries of the Bhadra Project Irrigation Advisory Committee said in a release.
The public and farmers are prohibited from moving around in the canal banks, washing cattle and carrying out daily activities. All farmers in the Achukattu area have been asked to cooperate with the department, the release issued on May 6 said.
