Water Release from Bhadra Dam to Canals: Strict Adherence to Rules Mandatory!
Shivamogga September 18: Due to the lack of expected rainfall during August and September of the current year and to meet the drinking water needs of people and livestock in the Bhadra command area water will be released into the reservoir’s distribution canals for a total of 15 days—from midnight on September 17 2026 to October 2 2026. This announcement was made by the Superintending Engineer who also serves as the Member Secretary of the Bhadra Project Irrigation Advisory Committee.
