ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ (shivamogga), ಜನವರಿ 23: ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ – ಭದ್ರಾವತಿ ನಡುವಿನ ಮಾಚೇನಹಳ್ಳಿಯ ಶಿಮುಲ್ ಡೈರಿ ಬಳಿ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವ, ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಹೆದ್ದಾರಿ ಚತುಷ್ಪಥ ಮಾರ್ಗದ ಅಂಡರ್ ಪಾಸ್ ಕಾಮಗಾರಿ ಸ್ಥಳದ ಬಳಿ ಭೂ ಕುಸಿತ ಉಂಟಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದರಿಂದ ವಾಹನಗಳ ಸಂಚಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಅಡೆತಡೆಯಾಗಿದೆ.
ಅಂಡರ್ ಪಾಸ್ ಕಾಮಗಾರಿ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಕಡೆ ಸರ್ವಿಸ್ ರಸ್ತೆ ಬಿಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಸದರಿ ಸ್ಥಳದ ಸಮೀಪವೇ ಭೂ ಕುಸಿತ ಉಂಟಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದರಿಂದ ಸದರಿ ರಸ್ತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮೊದಲೇ ದುಸ್ತರವಾಗಿರುವ ವಾಹನ ಸಂಚಾರವು, ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಸಂಕಷ್ಟಮಯವಾಗಿ ಪರಿಣಮಿಸುವಂತಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಸವಾರರು ದೂರಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಕಳೆದ 4 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಹಿಂದೆ ಅಂಡರ್ ಪಾಸ್ ಕಾಮಗಾರಿ ಆರಂಭಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಆದರೆ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿತ ವೇಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಮಗಾರಿ ನಡೆಯದ ಕಾರಣದಿಂದ, ವಾಹನ ಸವಾರರು ತೀವ್ರ ತೊಂದರೆಗೆ ಸಿಲುಕುವಂತಾಗಿದೆ. ಸದ್ಯದ ಕಾಮಗಾರಿ ವೇಗ ಗಮನಿಸಿದರೆ, ಮುಂದಿನ ಮಳೆಗಾಲದ ವೇಳೆಗೂ ಪೂರ್ಣಗೊಳ್ಳುವ ಲಕ್ಷಣಗಳಿಲ್ಲವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಸ್ಥಳೀಯರು ಅಸಮಾಧಾನ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.
ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ ಭೂ ಸಾರಿಗೆ ಇಲಾಖೆಯು ಇತ್ತ ಗಮನಹರಿಸಬೇಕು. ಅಂಡರ್ ಪಾಸ್ ಕಾಮಗಾರಿಯನ್ನು ಕಾಲಮಿತಿಯೊಳಗೆ ಪೂರ್ಣಗೊಳಿಸಿ, ಸುಗಮ ವಾಹನ ಸಂಚಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಅವಕಾಶ ಕಲ್ಪಿಸಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಸ್ಥಳೀಯರು ಆಗ್ರಹಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.
