ಭದ್ರಾವತಿ (bhadravathi), ಜನವರಿ 22: ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಭದ್ರಾವತಿ ತಾಲೂಕಿನ ಅರೆಬಿಳಚಿ ಕ್ಯಾಂಪ್ ಸಮೀಪದ ಭದ್ರಾ ನಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ, ಜನವರಿ 22 ರಂದು ಮತ್ತಿಬ್ಬರ ಶವಗಳು ಪತ್ತೆಯಾಗಿವೆ. ಇದರೊಂದಿಗೆ ನಾಲೆಯ ನೀರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊಚ್ಚಿ ಹೋಗಿದ್ದ ನಾಲ್ವರ ಶವಗಳು ಪತ್ತೆಯಾದಂತಾಗಿದೆ.
ದಂಪತಿ ಪರಶುರಾಮ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಶ್ವೇತಾ ಎಂಬುವರ ಶವಗಳು ಪತ್ತೆಯಾಗಿವೆ. ಕಳೆದ ಕೆಲ ದಿನಗಳ ಹಿಂದೆ ಇಬ್ಬರ ಶವಗಳು ಪತ್ತೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದವು. ಎಲ್ಲರ ಶವಗಳು ಪತ್ತೆಯಾದ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ, ಶೋಧ ಕಾರ್ಯಾರಣೆ ಅಂತ್ಯಗೊಳಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಏನೀದು ಪ್ರಕರಣ? : ಕಳೆದ ಜನವರಿ 18 ರಂದು ಭದ್ರಾ ನಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಟ್ಟೆ ಒಗೆಯಲೆಂದು ನೀಲಾಬಾಯಿ (50), ಅವರ ಪುತ್ರ ರವಿ (24), ಪುತ್ರಿ ಶ್ವೇತಾ (35) ಹಾಗೂ ಅಳಿಯ ಪರಶುರಾಮ್ (40) ಎಂಬುವರು ತೆರಳಿದ್ದರು. ಈ ವೇಳೆ ಆಕಸ್ಮಿಕವಾಗಿ ನಾಲ್ವರು ಕೂಡ ನಾಲೆ ನೀರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊಚ್ಚಿ ಹೋಗಿದ್ದರು.
ಅಂದಿನಿಂದ ನಾಪತ್ತೆಯಾದವರ ಶೋಧ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆ ನಡೆಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿತ್ತು. ಭದ್ರಾವತಿ ಅಗ್ನಿಶಾಮಕ ದಳ, ಮುಳುಗು ತಜ್ಞ ಮಲ್ಪೆ ಈಶ್ವರ್ ತಂಡ ಹಾಗೂ ಎಸ್.ಡಿ.ಆರ್.ಎಫ್ ತಂಡಗಳು ಶೋಧ ಕಾರ್ಯಾದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದವು.
ಸೋಮವಾರ ಯುವಕ ರವಿ ಶವ ಪತ್ತೆಯಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಮಂಗಳವಾರದ ಶೋಧದ ವೇಳೆ ಯಾವುದೇ ಕುರುಹುಗಳು ಪತ್ತೆಯಾಗಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಬುಧವಾರ ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ ನೀಲಾಬಾಯಿ ಅವರ ಶವ ಪತ್ತೆಯಾಗಿತ್ತು.
Two More Bodies Found in Bhadra Canal: Search Operation Concluded | Bhadravathi, January 22: Near Arebilachi Camp in Bhadravathi taluk of Shivamogga district, two more bodies were recovered from the Bhadra canal on January 22. With this, all four people who were swept away in the canal waters have now been found. The bodies of the couple, Parashurama and Shwetha, were recovered. Earlier, two other bodies had already been found. Since all the missing persons have now been located, the search operation has been officially concluded. What happened? On January 18, Neelabai (50), her son Ravi (24), daughter Shwetha (35), and son-in-law Parashurama (40) had gone to the Bhadra canal to wash clothes. At that time, all four were accidentally swept away by the canal waters. Since then, search operations had been underway. Teams from the Bhadravathi Fire Department, expert diver Malpe Ishwar’s team, and the SDRF (State Disaster Response Force) participated in the rescue efforts. On Monday, the body of young Ravi was found. On Tuesday, no clues were discovered during the search. On Wednesday morning, Neelabai’s body was recovered.
