ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ (shivamogga), ಫೆಬ್ರವರಿ 12: ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ಮಹಾನಗರ ಪಾಲಿಕೆ 1 ನೇ ವಾರ್ಡ್ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯ ಆದರ್ಶ ನಗರ, ಎಂಎಸ್’ಕೆ ಸಿಟಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಪ್ರೆಸ್ ಕಾಲೋನಿಯ ಪಾರ್ಕ್ ಗಳ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ದಿಗೆ ಕ್ರಮಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ಕೋರಿ ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಬಡಾವಣೆ ಮುಖಂಡರು, ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ – ಭದ್ರಾವತಿ ನಗರಾಭಿವೃದ್ದಿ ಪ್ರಾಧಿಕಾರ (ಸೂಡಾ) ಕ್ಕೆ ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಈ ಸಂಬಂಧ ಫೆ. 12 ರ ಸಂಜೆ ಪ್ರಾಧಿಕಾರದ ಕಚೇರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಹೆಚ್ ಎಸ್ ಸುಂದರೇಶ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಆಯುಕ್ತರಾದ ವಿಶ್ವನಾಥ್ ಪಿ ಮುದಜ್ಜಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಮುಖಂಡರು ಮನವಿ ಪತ್ರ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಆದರ್ಶ ನಗರ ಹಾಗೂ ಎಂಎಸ್’ಕೆ ಸಿಟಿ ಬಡಾವಣೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿನ ಯಾವುದೇ ಪಾರ್ಕ್ ಗಳನ್ನು ಇಲ್ಲಿಯವರೆಗೂ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ದಿಗೊಳಿಸಿಲ್ಲ. ಸದರಿ ಪಾರ್ಕ್ ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳ ಅನುಕೂಲಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ವಾಕಿಂಗ್ ಪಾಥ್, ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಆಟದ ಸಾಮಗ್ರಿ, ಧ್ಯಾನ ಮಂದಿರ ಹಾಗೂ ವ್ಯಾಯಾಮ (ಜಿಮ್) ಉಪಕರಣ ಅಳವಡಿಸಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳು ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಪ್ರೆಸ್ ಕಾಲೋನಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಸೂಡಾದಿಂದ ಪಾರ್ಕ್ ವೊಂದನ್ನು ಅಭಿವೃದ್ದಿಗೊಳಿಸಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಸದರಿ ಪಾರ್ಕ್ ಗೆ ಆಟದ ಸಾಮಗ್ರಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಜಿಮ್ ಉಪಕರಣಗಳನ್ನು ಅಳವಡಿಸಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳು ಕೋರಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಆದರ್ಶ ನಗರದ ಮುಖಂಡ ರಮೇಶ್ ಬಾಬು, ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಉಮೇಶ್ ಹಿರೇಮಠ್, ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಸಂತೋಷ್, ಖಜಾಂಚಿ ತಿಪ್ಪೇಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಆರ್ ಎಸ್, ಪ್ರೆಸ್ ಕಾಲೋನಿ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳ ಸಂಘದ ಗೌರವಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಎಸ್ ಜಿ ರಾಮಚಂದ್ರ, ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಪತ್ರಕರ್ತ ಬಿ ರೇಣುಕೇಶ್, ಮುಖಂಡರಾದ ಕೊಟ್ರೇಶಪ್ಪ, ಯುವ ಮುಖಂಡ ಸಂತೋಷ್ ಅವರು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.
Shivamogga: Residents petition for park development in various localities
Shivamogga, February 12: Local leaders from Adarsha Nagar, MSK City, and Press Colony in Ward No. 1 of Shivamogga City Corporation have submitted a petition to the Shivamogga–Bhadravati Urban Development Authority (SUDA), requesting the development of parks in their areas.
On the evening of February 12, the leaders presented the petition to SUDA Chairman H. S. Sundaresha and Commissioner Vishwanath P. Mudajji at the authority’s office.
Residents pointed out that no parks in Adarsha Nagar and MSK City have been developed so far. They requested the installation of walking paths, children’s play equipment, meditation centers, and gym facilities for the benefit of the community.
In Press Colony, SUDA has already developed one park, but residents are asking for additional play equipment and gym installations there as well.
Present at the occasion were Adarsha Nagar leaders Ramesh Babu, President Umesh Hiremath, Secretary Santosh, Treasurer Tippeswamy R. S., Press Colony Residents’ Association Honorary President S. G. Ramachandra, President and journalist B. Renukesh, leaders Kotrashappa, and youth leader Santosh.
