ಭದ್ರಾವತಿ (bhadravathi), ಮಾರ್ಚ್ 29: ಅಡಕೆ ತೋಟವೊಂದರಲ್ಲಿ ಖಾಸಗಿ ಕಾಲೇಜ್ ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸಕರೋರ್ವರ ಮೃತದೇಹ ಸುಟ್ಟ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪತ್ತೆಯಾದ ಘಟನೆ, ಭದ್ರಾವತಿ ತಾಲೂಕು ಹೊಳೆಹೊನ್ನೂರು ಸಮೀಪದ ಹನುಮಂತಾಪುರ ಗ್ರಾಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾರ್ಚ್ 29 ರ ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ ನಡೆದಿದೆ.
ಸುರೇಶ್ (58) ಅನುಮಾನಾಸ್ಪದ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮೃತಪಟ್ಟ ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸಕ ಎಂದು ಗುರುತಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಇವರು ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗದ ಖಾಸಗಿ ಕಾಲೇಜ್ ವೊಂದರಲ್ಲಿ ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸಕರಾಗಿ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಹಣೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿದುಬಂದಿದೆ.
ಸದರಿ ತೋಟ ಸುರೇಶ್ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿದ್ದಾಗಿದೆ. ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ ಅಕ್ಕಪಕ್ಕದ ತೋಟದವರು ಬೆಂಕಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ದೇಹ ಉರಿಯುತ್ತಿರುವುದನ್ನು ಗಮನಿಸಿ ಪೊಲೀಸರಿಗೆ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎನ್ನಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕಾಗಮಿಸಿದ ಹೊಳೆಹೊನ್ನೂರು ಠಾಣೆ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಬೆಂಕಿ ನಂದಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಮೃತದೇಹವು ಭಾಗಶಃ ಸುಟ್ಟು ಕರಕಲಾದ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪತ್ತೆಯಾಗಿದೆ. ತೋಟದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಬೈಕ್ ವೊಂದು ಪತ್ತೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಅದು ಸುರೇಶ್ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿದ್ದಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿದುಬಂದಿದೆ.
ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಇಲಾಖೆಯ ಹಿರಿಯ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಭೇಟಿಯಿತ್ತು ಪರಿಶೀಲನೆ ನಡೆಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಪ್ರಕರಣದ ಸುತ್ತ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ನಿಗೂಢತೆ ಆವರಿಸಿದೆ. ಆತ್ಮಹತ್ಯೆಯೋ? ಕೊಲೆಯೋ? ಎಂಬುವುದು ಪೊಲೀಸರ ತನಿಖೆಯ ನಂತರವಷ್ಟೆ ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟವಾಗಬೇಕಾಗಿದೆ.
Lecturer’s burnt body found in areca plantation in Shivamogga – Murder or suicide?
Bhadravati, March 29: In a shocking incident, the charred body of a private college lecturer was discovered in an areca plantation at Hanumantapura village in Bhadravati taluk on the morning of March 29.
The deceased has been identified as Suresh (58), who was working as a lecturer at a private college in Shivamogga. The plantation where the body was found belonged to him.
Neighbors noticed the body burning in the plantation and immediately informed the police. Officers from the Holehonnu police station rushed to the spot and extinguished the fire. The body was found partially burnt and charred.
A motorbike was also found at the scene, reportedly belonging to Suresh. Senior police officials visited the site and conducted an inspection.
The case remains shrouded in mystery. Whether it was a suicide or a murder will only be determined after a thorough police investigation.
