ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ (shivamogga), ಜುಲೈ 08: ನಾನಾ ಕಾರಣಗಳ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅರ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಶಾಲೆ ಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಹಳ್ಳಿ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು, ಮರಳಿ ಶಾಲೆಗೆ ಸೇರಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ಗ್ರಾಮಾಂತರ ಠಾಣೆ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಉತ್ತಮ ಕಾರ್ಯ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ತಾಲೂಕಿನ ಮಡಿಕೆ ಚೀಲೂರು ಮತ್ತು ಹೊಳೆ ಮಡಿಕೆ ಚೀಲೂರಿನ 14 ವರ್ಷ ವಯೋಮಾನದ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಬಾಲಕರು ಅರ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಶಾಲೆ ತೊರೆದಿದ್ದರು. ಕಳೆದ ಹಲವು ದಿನಗಳಿಂದ ಶಾಲೆಗೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ.
ಈ ಕುರಿತಂತೆ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಪಡೆದ ಗ್ರಾಮಾಂತರ ಠಾಣೆ ಸಬ್ ಇನ್ಸ್’ಪೆಕ್ಟರ್ ನಂದಿನಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಕಾನ್ಸ್’ಟೇಬಲ್ ನವೀನ್ ಅವರು ಸದರಿ ಬಾಲಕರು ಹಾಗೂ ಅವರ ಪೋಷಕರನ್ನು ಖುದ್ದಾಗಿ ಭೇಟಿಯಾಗಿ ಸಮಾಲೋಚನೆ ನಡೆಸಿದ್ದರು.
ಅವರ ಮನವೊಲಿಸಿ ಪುನಃ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಶಾಲೆಗೆ ಸೇರ್ಪಡೆ ಮಾಡುವಲ್ಲಿ ಸಫಲರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಪೊಲೀಸರ ಈ ಸಮಾಜಮುಖಿ ಕಾರ್ಯವು ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಗ್ರಾಮಗಳ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳ ಮೆಚ್ಚುಗೆಗೆ ಪಾತ್ರವಾಗಿದೆ.

ವಿದ್ಯಾಭ್ಯಾಸವನ್ನು ಅರ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಮರಳಿ ಶಾಲೆಗೆ ಸೇರ್ಪಡೆಗೊಳಿಸುವ ‘ಮರಳಿ ಶಾಲೆಗೆ ಕರೆತರುವ’ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರವವನ್ನು ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಇಲಾಖೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಗತಗೊಳಿಸಿದೆ. ಇದರಡಿ ಶಾಲೆ ಬಿಟ್ಟ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಸಂಗ್ರಹಿಸಿ, ಅವರನ್ನು ಮರಳಿ ಶಾಲೆಗೆ ಸೇರ್ಪಡೆಗೊಳಿಸುವ ಮಹತ್ತರ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಬರುತ್ತಿದೆ.
Shivamogga Rural Police Station’s pro-people work is appreciated!
Shivamogga, July 08: Shivamogga Rural Police Station has done a great job by getting two village children who had left school halfway due to various reasons back into school.
Two 14-year-old boys from Madike Chilur and Hole Madike Chilur in Shivamogga taluk had left school halfway. They had not been going to school for the past several days.
Upon receiving information about this, Rural Police Station Sub-Inspector Nandini and Constable Naveen personally met the said children and their parents and held consultations.
They were successful in convincing them and getting the children back into school. This pro-people work of the police has been appreciated by the residents of the local villages.
Shivamogga Police Department’s Major Program
The District Police Department has implemented a ‘Re-Schooling’ program to identify students who have dropped out of school and enroll them back in school. Under this, the important work of collecting information about school dropouts and enrolling them back in school is being carried out.
