ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ (shivamogga), ಫೆಬ್ರವರಿ 11: ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಆಗುಂಬೆ ಘಾಟ್ ಮೂಲಕ ಹಾದುಹೋಗುವ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಹೆದ್ದಾರಿ–169 ಎ ರಸ್ತೆಯನ್ನು (ಕಿ.ಮೀ. 30.75 ರಿಂದ 51.60ರವರೆಗೆ), ಎರಡು ಲೇನ್ ಮಾರ್ಗವಾಗಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಇಕ್ಕೆಲಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾದಚಾರಿ ಮಾರ್ಗ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣ ಕಾರ್ಯಸಾಧ್ಯತೆಯ ಕುರಿತಂತೆ ಅಧ್ಯಯನ ನಡೆಸಿ ವಿವರವಾದ ಯೋಜನಾ ವರದಿ (ಡಿಪಿಆರ್) ತಯಾರಿಸಲು, ಕೇಂದ್ರ ರಸ್ತೆ ಸಾರಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ಹೆದ್ದಾರಿ ಸಚಿವಾಲಯ (MoRTH) ಟೆಂಡರ್ ಆಹ್ವಾನಿಸಿರುವುದನ್ನು ಲೋಕಸಭಾ ಸದಸ್ಯ ಬಿ.ವೈ.ರಾಘವೇಂದ್ರ ಅವರು ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಡಿಪಿಆರ್ ಸಿದ್ದಪಡಿಸುವ ಕಾರ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸುರಂಗ ವಿನ್ಯಾಸ ತಜ್ಞರು ಮತ್ತು ಹಿರಿಯ ಭೂ-ಭೌತಶಾಸ್ತ್ರ ತಜ್ಞರಿರಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇದರಿಂದ ಆಗುಂಬೆ ಘಾಟ್ ರಸ್ತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸುರಂಗ ಮಾರ್ಗ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣದ ಆಯ್ಕೆಯ ಕಾರ್ಯಸಾಧ್ಯತೆ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಸಂಗ್ರಹಿಸಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗಲಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಸಂಸದ ಬಿ ವೈ ರಾಘವೇಂದ್ರ ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಆಗುಂಬೆ ಘಾಟ್ ರಸ್ತೆಯ ಸುರಕ್ಷತೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸುವುದು, ಪಶ್ಚಿಮ ಘಟ್ಟ ಪ್ರದೇಶದ ಪ್ರಕೃತಿ ಸಂವೇದನಾಶೀಲತೆ ಕಾಯ್ದುಕೊಂಡು ವೈಜ್ಞಾನಿಕವಾಗಿ ರಸ್ತೆ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳುವುದು ಈ ಯೋಜನೆಯ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಗುರಿಯಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಸಂಸದರು ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಡಿಪಿಆರ್ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆ ಆರಂಭವಾಗಿರುವುದನ್ನು ಗಮನಿಸಿದರೆ, ಸದರಿ ಯೋಜನೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ ನರೇಂದ್ರ ಮೋದಿ ನೇತೃತ್ವದ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಗಂಭೀರವಾಗಿ ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಿರುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಕಾಲಮಿತಿಯೊಳಗೆ ಮುಗಿಸುವ ಬದ್ಧತೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಆಗುಂಬೆ ಘಾಟ್ ರಸ್ತೆ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಯಿಂದ ಮಲೆನಾಡು – ಕರಾವಳಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಗಳ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಗೆ ಹೊಸ ದಿಕ್ಕು ಲಭ್ಯವಾಗಲಿದೆ. ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳು, ರೈತರು, ಅಕ್ಕಪಕ್ಕದ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಗಳು, ಪ್ರವಾಸೋದ್ಯಮ ಹಾಗೂ ತುರ್ತು ಸೇವೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಗಣನೀಯ ಲಾಭವಾಗಲಿದೆ.
ಮಹತ್ವದ ನಿರ್ಧಾರ ಕೈಗೊಂಡ ಪ್ರಧಾನಮಂತ್ರಿ ನರೇಂದ್ರ ಮೋದಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ರಸ್ತೆ ಸಾರಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ಹೆದ್ದಾರಿ ಸಚಿವಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುವುದಾಗಿ ಸಂಸದ ಬಿ.ವೈ.ರಾಘವೇಂದ್ರ ಅವರು ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
Agumbe Ghat Road Development, Tunnel Construction Project: Major Decision by the Central Government!
Shivamogga, February 11: The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) has invited tenders to prepare a Detailed Project Report (DPR) for upgrading the National Highway–169A stretch (from km 30.75 to 51.60) that passes through Agumbe Ghat. The plan includes converting it into a two-lane road with pedestrian pathways on both sides. Lok Sabha member B.Y. Raghavendra has welcomed this move.
The DPR preparation will involve tunnel design experts and senior geo-scientists. This will help assess the feasibility of constructing tunnels along the Agumbe Ghat road, Raghavendra stated.
He emphasized that the main goal of the project is to enhance road safety while preserving the ecological sensitivity of the Western Ghats region and ensuring scientific road development.
The initiation of the DPR process shows that the government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi is taking this project seriously and is committed to completing it within the stipulated timeframe, he added.
The development of Agumbe Ghat Road will open new avenues for the growth of Malnad and coastal districts. Local residents, farmers, neighboring districts, tourism, and emergency services will all benefit significantly.
Expressing gratitude, MP B.Y. Raghavendra thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways for this important decision.
