ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ (shivamogga), ಮಾರ್ಚ್ 30: ತುಂಗಾ ನದಿಗೆ ಧುಮುಕಿ ಆತ್ಮಹತ್ಯೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ನಿರ್ಧರಿಸಿದ್ದ ಬಾಲಕನೋರ್ವನನ್ನು, ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರ ಸಹಕಾರರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ರಕ್ಷಣೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ಘಟನೆ ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾರ್ಚ್ 29 ರ ರಾತ್ರಿ ನಡೆದಿದೆ.
16 ವರ್ಷದ ಬಾಲಕನೇ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಗೊಳಗಾದವ. ಈತ ವಾದಿ ಎ ಹುದಾ ಬಡಾವಣೆ ಸಮೀಪದ ಸೇತುವೆ ಬಳಿ ನದಿಗೆ ಹಾರಲು ನಿಂತುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದ. ಇದನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ನಾಗರೀಕರು ಗಮನಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಗಸ್ತಿನಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಇಆರ್’ವಿ ವಾಹನ 112 ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಗಳಾದ ತುಂಗಾನಗರ ಠಾಣೆಯ ಶಬ್ಬೀರ್ ಬೇಗ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಮಂಜುನಾಥ್ ಅವರ ಗಮನಕ್ಕೆ ತಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ವಿಷಯ ತಿಳಿದು ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕಾಗಮಿಸಿದ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಗಳು, ಸ್ಥಳೀಯರ ನೆರವಿನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಬಾಲಕನನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಣೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಕಾರಣವೇನು? : ತಂದೆ-ತಾಯಿಯು ತನ್ನ ಹಾಗೂ ತಮ್ಮನ ನಡುವೆ ತಾರತಮ್ಯ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈ ಕಾರಣದಿಂದ ಮನನೊಂದು ನದಿಗೆ ಹಾರಲು ನಿರ್ಧರಿಸಿದ್ದೆ ಎಂದು ಪೊಲೀಸರ ವಿಚಾರಣೆ ವೇಳೆ ಬಾಲಕ ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಎಂದು ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಇಲಾಖೆ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ಪ್ರಕಟಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿದೆ.
Shivamogga : Boy rescued before jumping into Tunga River!
Shivamogga, March 30: A boy who had decided to jump into the Tunga River to end his life was rescued by police with the help of the public in Shivamogga city on the night of March 29.
The rescued boy is 16 years old. He was standing near the bridge close to Vahida E Hudda Layout, preparing to jump into the river. Local residents noticed this and immediately alerted the police.
Patrolling ERV 112 staff members, Shabbir Beg and Manjunath from the Tunganagar Police Station, rushed to the spot after being informed. With the assistance of the locals, they managed to rescue the boy.
Reason: During police inquiry, the boy revealed that his parents were showing favoritism between him and his younger brother. Feeling hurt and distressed by this, he had decided to jump into the river. This was stated in the press release issued by the police department.
