ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ (shivamogga), ಏಪ್ರಿಲ್ 27: ಮಹಿಳೆಯೋರ್ವರ ಮಾಂಗಲ್ಯ ಸರ ಕಳವು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದ ಆರೋಪದ ಮೇರೆಗೆ, ಇಬ್ಬರು ಯುವಕರನ್ನು ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ಗ್ರಾಮಾಂತರ ಠಾಣೆ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಬಂಧಿಸಿದ ಘಟನೆ ಏಪ್ರಿಲ್ 26 ರಂದು ನಡೆದಿದೆ.
ಮನೋಜ್ ಶಿರಮಣ ಹಾಗೂ ವಿಜಯ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಬಂಧಿತ ಆರೋಪಿಗಳೆಂದು ಗುರುತಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಇವರಿಂದ ಕೃತ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಬಳಸಿದ್ದ ಸ್ಪ್ಲೆಂಡರ್ ಬೈಕ್ ಹಾಗೂ 2.50 ಲಕ್ಷ ರೂ. ಮೌಲ್ಯದ ಮಾಂಗಲ್ಯ ಸರವನ್ನು ಪೊಲೀಸರು ವಶಕ್ಕೆ ಪಡೆದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಡಿವೈಎಸ್ಪಿ ಸಂಜೀವ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಟಿ ಅವರ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನದಲ್ಲಿ ಇನ್ಸ್’ಪೆಕ್ಟರ್ ರಾಘವೇಂದ್ರ ಕಾಂಡಿಕೆ, ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಗಳಾದ ಎಎಸ್ಐ ವಿಜಯ, ಸಿಹೆಚ್’ಸಿ ಕಲ್ಲನಗೌಡ, ಕುಮಾರ್ ಬಣಕಾರ್, ದಾಕ್ಷಾಯಿಣಿ, ರಾಘವೇಂದ್ರ, ಸಿಪಿಸಿಗಳಾದ ಶ್ರೀಕಾಂತ್, ಕಾಶೀನಾಥ್ ರವರು ಆರೋಪಿಗಳನ್ನು ಬಂಧಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಸಫಲರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಪ್ರಕರಣದ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆ : ಮಹಿಳಾ ಸಂಘದ ಸಭೆಯೊಂದರಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಲು ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ನಗರದ ಮಹಿಳೆಯೋರ್ವರು, 25/04/2026 ರಂದು ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ ಹೊಳಲೂರಿಗೆ ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆ ಬಳಿ ನಡೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುವಾಗ, ಬೈಕ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ ಆರೋಪಿಗಳು 35 ಗ್ರಾಂ ತೂಕದ ಮಾಂಗಲ್ಯ ಸರ ಕಿತ್ತುಕೊಂಡು ಪರಾರಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ಈ ಸಂಬಂಧ ಗ್ರಾಮಾಂತರ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಕರಣ ದಾಖಲಾಗಿತ್ತು.
Shivamogga Rural Police Station Operation: Two accused arrested in Mangalya Sara theft case!
Shivamogga, April 27: On April 26, the Shivamogga Rural Police Station arrested two youths on charges of stealing a woman’s Mangalya Sara.
Manoj Shiramana and Vijay Kumar have been identified as the arrested accused. The Splendor bike used in the crime and Mangalya Sara worth Rs. 2.50 lakh have been seized by the police.
Under the guidance of DySP Sanjeev Kumar T, Inspector Raghavendra Kandike, staff members ASI Vijaya, CHC Kallanagouda, Kumar Banakar, Dakshayini, Raghavendra, CPCs Srikanth, Kashinath have succeeded in arresting the accused.
Background of the case: A woman from Shivamogga city had arrived at Holalur on the morning of 25/04/2026 to attend a meeting of a women’s association. While she was walking near the government hospital, the accused, who had arrived on a bike, snatched her bracelet weighing 35 grams and fled. A case was registered in this regard at the rural police station.
