ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ (shivamogga), ಫೆಬ್ರವರಿ 1 : ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯೋರ್ವರ ಬೆನ್ನಿಗೆ ಚುಚ್ಚಿ, ಮಾರಣಾಂತಿಕವಾಗಿ ಹಲ್ಲೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದ ಮೂವರು ಯುವಕರಿಗೆ 5 ವರ್ಷ ಕಠಿಣ ಜೈಲು ಶಿಕ್ಷೆ ವಿಧಿಸಿ, ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗದ 1 ಹೆಚ್ಚುವರಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಮತ್ತು ಸತ್ರ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯ ಜನವರಿ 31 ರಂದು ತೀರ್ಪು ನೀಡಿದೆ.
ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗದ ಮಂಜುನಾಥ ಬಡಾವಣೆ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳಾದ ಸಂತೋಷ ಯಾನೆ ಸಂತು (27), ಶರತ್ (24) ಹಾಗೂ ಬುದ್ದನಗರ ನಿವಾಸಿ ಪ್ರಶಾಂತ್ ಎಂ (24) ಶಿಕ್ಷೆಗೊಳಗಾದ ಯುವಕರೆಂದು ಗುರುತಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಜೈಲು ಶಿಕ್ಷೆಯ ಜೊತೆಗೆ 12 ಸಾವಿರ ರೂ. ದಂಡ ವಿಧಿಸಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ದಂಡ ಕಟ್ಟಲು ವಿಫಲವಾದಲ್ಲಿ 1 ವರ್ಷ ಸಾಧಾರಣ ಜೈಲು ಶಿಕ್ಷೆ ಅನುಭವಿಸುವಂತೆ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯ ತೀರ್ಪಿನಲ್ಲಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿದೆ.
ನ್ಯಾಯಾಧೀಶರಾದ ಅಭಯ್ ಧನಪಾಲ್ ಚೌಗಲ ಅವರು ಈ ತೀರ್ಪು ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಪರವಾಗಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಅಭಿಯೋಜಕರಾದ ಮಮತಾ ಬಿ ಎಸ್ ಅವರು ವಾದ ಮಂಡಿಸಿದ್ದರು.
ಪ್ರಕರಣದ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆ : ಬಾಬು ಕಿರಣ್ ಎಂಬುವರು ದೂರುದಾರರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. 20-3-2022 ರಂದು ದೂರುದಾರರು ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಿದ ಹಣ ಪಡೆದುಕೊಂಡು ವಾಪಾಸ್ ಮನೆಗೆ ಹಿಂದಿರುಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಗ, ಜೈಲು ಶಿಕ್ಷೆಗೆ ಒಳಗಾದ ಮೂವರು ಅಪರಾಧಿಗಳು ಅಡ್ಡಗಟ್ಟಿ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ್ದರು.
ಅವ್ಯಾಚ್ಯ ಶಬ್ದಗಳಿಂದ ನಿಂದಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ನಂತರ ದೂರುದಾರರ ಬೆನ್ನಿಗೆ ಚುಚ್ಚಿ, ಮಾರಣಾಂತಿಕ ಹಲ್ಲೆ ನಡೆಸಿ ಕೊಲೆಗೆ ಯತ್ನಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಈ ಸಂಬಂಧ ದೊಡ್ಡಪೇಟೆ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಕರಣ ದಾಖಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಪೊಲೀಸರು ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಆರೋಪಪಟ್ಟಿ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದ್ದರು.
Shivamogga : Three sentenced to 5 years rigorous imprisonment for attempted murder by stabbing in the back!
Shivamogga, February 1: The 1st Additional District and Sessions Court in Shivamogga delivered a verdict on January 31, sentencing three youths to five years of rigorous imprisonment for stabbing a man in the back and attempting to kill him.The convicted youths are identified as Santosh alias Santu (27) and Sharath (24), both residents of Manjunath Layout, Shivamogga, and Prashanth M (24), a resident of Buddanagar. Along with imprisonment, the court imposed a fine of ₹12,000. If they fail to pay the fine, they will have to undergo one year of simple imprisonment. The verdict was delivered by Judge Abhay Dhanapal Chougala. The prosecution was represented by Government Pleader Mamatha B.S.
Case background: The complainant in the case is Babu Kiran. On March 20, 2022, while returning home after collecting his wages, the three convicts intercepted him. They abused him with obscene words and then stabbed him in the back, launching a murderous assault in an attempt to kill him. A case was registered at Doddamarket Police Station, and the police later filed a charge sheet in court.
