ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ (shivamogga), ಫೆಬ್ರವರಿ 15: ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ನಗರದ ಹರಕೆರೆಯ ಶಿವ ದೇವಾಲಯದ ಬಳಿ ಭಿಕ್ಷಾಟನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತೊಡಗಿದ್ದ 11 ವರ್ಷದ ಬಾಲಕಿಯನ್ನು ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಇಲಾಖೆಯ ‘ಅಕ್ಕ ಪಡೆ’ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಗಳು ರಕ್ಷಣೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ಘಟನೆ ಫೆಬ್ರವರಿ 15 ರಂದು ನಡೆದಿದೆ.
ಸದರಿ ಬಾಲಕಿಯು ದೇವಾಲಯದ ಸುತ್ತಮುತ್ತ ಭಿಕ್ಷಾಟನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತೊಡಗಿದ್ದು, ಅಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಕರ್ತವ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಅಕ್ಕ ಪಡೆ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಗಳಾದ ನಿರ್ಮಲ ಹಾಗೂ ವಿಜಯ ಅವರು ಗಮನಿಸಿ, ಬಾಲಕಿಯ ಪೂರ್ವಾಪರ ವಿಚಾರಣೆ ನಡೆಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ನಂತರ ಬಾಲಕಿಯನ್ನು ನಗರದ ಹೊರವಲಯ ಆಲ್ಕೊಳದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಬಾಲಕಿಯರ ಬಾಲ ಮಂದಿರದ ಸುಪರ್ದಿಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅಕ್ಕ ಪಡೆ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಗಳ ಉತ್ತಮ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ರಕ್ಷಣಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ನಿಖಿಲ್ ಬಿ ಅವರು ಶ್ಲಾಘಿಸಿ ಅಭಿನಂದಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
Shimoga City: 11-Year-Old Girl Begging Rescued
Shimoga, February 15: An incident occurred on February 15 in Shimoga city where an 11-year-old girl engaged in begging near the Shiva temple at Harakere was rescued by the police department’s Akka Pade (women’s protection squad).
The girl was found begging around the temple premises, where Akka Pade staff members Nirmala and Vijaya, who were on duty, noticed her and conducted an inquiry into her background.
Later, the girl was handed over to the Government Girls’ Home at Alkola, located on the outskirts of the city. District Protection Officer Nikhil B praised and congratulated the commendable work of the Akka Pade staff.
