ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ (shivamogga), ಫೆಬ್ರವರಿ 16: ಮುಂದಿನ ಆರೇಳು ತಿಂಗಳ ಅವಧಿಯೊಳಗಾಗಿ ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ವಿಮಾನ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ರಾತ್ರಿ ವೇಳೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಮಾನಗಳು ಏರಿಳಿಯಲು ಅನುಕೂಲವಾಗುವಂತೆ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಫೆಬ್ರವರಿ ಮಾಸಾಂತ್ಯದೊಳಗೆ ಸುಮಾರು 6 ಕೋಟಿ ರೂ. ವೆಚ್ಚದ ಕಾಮಗಾರಿಗಳು ಆರಂಭಗೊಳ್ಳಲಿವೆ ಎಂದು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಕೈಗಾರಿಕಾ ಮತ್ತು ಮೂಲಸೌಕರ್ಯ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ನಿಗಮದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ನಂಜಯ್ಯಮಠ್ ಅವರು ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ಫೆಬ್ರವರಿ 16 ರಂದು ಸುದ್ದಿಗೋಷ್ಠಿ ಉದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿ ಅವರು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು. ಈ ಹಿಂದೆ ನವೀಕರಣಗೊಳ್ಳದೆ ಬಾಕಿ ಉಳಿದಿದ್ದ ವಿಮಾನ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣದ ಪರವಾನಗಿ ನವೀಕರಣದ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಯನ್ನು ಇತ್ಯರ್ಥಗೊಳಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಆಡಳಿತಾತ್ಮಕ ಅಡತಡೆಗಳನ್ನು ನಿವಾರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಅಲ್ಲದೇ ಬಾಕಿಯಿದ್ದ 22 ಲಕ್ಷ ರೂ. ದಂಡ ಪಾವತಿಸಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಮುಂದಿನ ಮೂರು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಅವಧಿಗೆ ಪರವಾನಗಿ ನವೀಕರಿಸುವ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಹವಾಮಾನ ವೈಪರೀತ್ಯ ಹಾಗೂ ಮತ್ತಿತರ ಹಲವು ಕಾರಣಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಇಳಿಯಬೇಕಾದ ವಿಮಾನಗಳು ಇಳಿಯದೇ ಹಿಂದಿರುಗಿ ಹೋಗುವುದನ್ನು ನಿಯಂತ್ರಿಸಲು, ರಾತ್ರಿ ಸಂಚಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸರಕು ಸಾಗಾಣಿಕೆಗೆ ಅನುಕೂಲ ಕಲ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಡುವ ನಿಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅಗತ್ಯವಾಗಿರುವ ದಿಕ್ಸೂಚಿ ಯಾಂತ್ರಿಕ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ (DBOR)ಗೆ ಟೆಂಡರ್ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆ ಪೂರ್ಣಗೊಂಡಿದೆ. ಅಲ್ಲದೇ ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ಸಂಪರ್ಕ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯೂ ಪೂರ್ಣಗೊಂಡಿದೆ ಎಂದರು.
ನೈಟ್ ಲ್ಯಾಂಡಿಂಗ್ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಕಲ್ಪಿಸಲು ನಿಯಮಾನುಸಾರ ಸದರಿ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿನ ಮಣ್ಣಿನ ಗುಣಮಟ್ಟದ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಗಾಗಿ ರವಾನಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ವಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ವರದಿ ಬರುವ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆ ಹೊಂದಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದ ಅವರು, ಈ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕಾಮಗಾರಿಗಳ ಸಕಾಲಿಕ ಪರಿಶೀಲನೆಗಾಗಿ ತಾವು ಖುದ್ದಾಗಿ ಆಗಮಿಸಿ, ಪರಿಶೀಲಿಸಿ ಸೂಕ್ತ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನ ನೀಡುವುದಾಗಿ ಅವರು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
ಉಡಾನ್ ಯೋಜನೆ ಮುಂದುವರಿಸಲು ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಮನವಿ
*** ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗದಿಂದ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಚೆನ್ನೈ, ಹೈದ್ರಾಬಾದ್, ಗೋವಾ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಹಲವು ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳಿಗೆ ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಕರ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿದೆ. ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಪುರಸ್ಕೃತ ಹಾಗೂ ವಿಮಾನ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ರಿಯಾಯಿತಿ ಒದಗಿಸುವ ‘ಉಡಾನ್’ ಯೋಜನೆಯ ಅವಧಿ ಶೀಘ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಕ್ತಾಯಗೊಳ್ಳಲಿದೆ. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಕರಿಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಪ್ರಯಾಣದರ ಪಾವತಿಸುವ ಹೊರೆ ಬೀಳದಂತೆ ನೋಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಸಂಸದರು ಹಾಗೂ ಜನಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿಗಳ ಸಹಕಾರವನ್ನು ಪಡೆದು, ಸದರಿ ಯೋಜನೆಯನ್ನು ಮುಂದುವರೆಸಲು ಕೇಂದ್ರ ವಿಮಾನಯಾನ ಸಚಿವರಿಗೆ ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗುವುದು ಎಂದು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಕೈಗಾರಿಕಾ ಮತ್ತು ಮೂಲಸೌಕರ್ಯ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ನಿಗಮದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ನಂಜಯ್ಯಮಠ್ ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ವಿಮಾನ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಕಾಯ್ದಿರಿಸಲಾಗಿರುವ 17 ಎಕರೆ ನಿವೇಶನದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಸಹಭಾಗಿತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೃಹತ್ ವಾಣಿಜ್ಯ ಸಂಕೀರ್ಣ ಮತ್ತು ಪಂಚತಾರಾ ಹೋಟೆಲ್ನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸುವ ಕುರಿತು ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ನಿಗಮದ ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮಾಲೋಚನೆ ನಡೆಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಶೀಘ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ವಿಷಯದ ಕುರಿತು ಸೂಕ್ತ ನಿರ್ಣಯ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗುವುದು ಎಂದರು.
ಸದರಿ ವಿಮಾನ ನಿಲ್ಧಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಪೈಲಟ್ ತರಬೇತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಆರಂಭಿಸಲು ಈ ಹಿಂದೆ ಖಾಸಗಿ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳಿಂದ ಅರ್ಜಿಗಳನ್ನು ಆಹ್ವಾನಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಆದರೆ, ಯಾವುದೇ ಕಂಪನಿಗಳು ಆಸಕ್ತ ವಹಿಸಿರುವುದು ಕಂಡುಬಂದಿರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದಾಗ್ಯೂ ಪೈಲಟ್ ತರಬೇತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಆರಂಭಿಸಲು ಇನ್ನೊಮ್ಮೆ ಆಸಕ್ತ ತರಬೇತಿ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳಿಂದ ಅರ್ಜಿಗಳನ್ನು ಆಹ್ವಾನಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು ಎಂದರು.
ವಿಮಾನ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣದ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಭೂಮಿ ನೀಡಿ ಸಹಕರಿಸಿದ ರೈತರ 370 ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳಿಗೆ ಅಂದಿನ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿ-ಜನಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿಗಳು ನೀಡಿದ ಭರವಸೆಯಂತೆ ತಲಾ ಒಂದು ನಿವೇಶನ ನೀಡಿರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಈ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಸಂತ್ರಸ್ಥರು ಅನೇಕ ಬಾರಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಗಮನ ಸೆಳೆಯುವ ಕಾರ್ಯ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅಲ್ಲದೇ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯವೂ ಕೂಡ ಸಂತ್ರಸ್ಥರ ಪರವಾಗಿ ತೀರ್ಪು ನೀಡಿರುವುದು ಗಮನಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಿದೆ. ಈ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಯ ಇತ್ಯರ್ಥಗೊಳಿಸಲು ಖುದ್ದಾಗಿ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳ ಗಮನಸೆಳೆದು ಅಗತ್ಯವಿರುವು ಅನುದಾನ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಗೊಳಿಸಲು ಒತ್ತಾಯಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು ಎಂದರು. ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಮಾನ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣದ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥ ಶಮಂತ್, ವಿದ್ಯಾಧರ್ ಸಾಲಿಮಠ್, ಮುಖಂಡ ಯೋಗೀಶ್ ಮತ್ತಿತರರು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.
Night Flights Soon at Shivamogga Airport
Shivamogga, February 16: Within the next six to seven months, Shivamogga Airport will be equipped to handle night-time flight operations. Work worth around ₹60 crore will begin by the end of February, according to Karnataka State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (KSIIDC) Chairman Nanjayya Math.
Speaking at a press conference in Shivamogga on February 16, he said that the pending issue of license renewal for the airport has now been resolved. Administrative hurdles have been cleared, and a fine of ₹22 lakh has been paid. As a result, there will be no need for further license renewal for the next three years.
To prevent situations where flights are forced to return without landing due to bad weather or other reasons, steps are being taken to enable night operations and cargo handling. The tender process for the required Directional Beacon Optical Range (DBOR) system has been completed, and the electrical connectivity has also been established.
For night landing facilities, soil quality tests in the designated area have been sent for analysis, with reports expected within a week. Nanjayya Math added that he would personally visit the site to monitor progress and provide guidance.
Request to Continue UDAN Scheme
Passenger traffic from Shivamogga to Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Goa, and other destinations has been steadily increasing. The central government’s subsidized UDAN scheme, which makes air travel more affordable, is nearing its end. To ensure passengers are not burdened with higher fares, local MPs and representatives will appeal to the Union Civil Aviation Minister to extend the scheme.
Plans are also underway to develop a large commercial complex and a five-star hotel on the already reserved 17-acre plot near the airport through public-private partnership. A decision on this will be taken soon.
Although applications were previously invited from private institutions to set up a pilot training center at the airport, none showed interest. Fresh applications will be invited again.
The 370 families who gave up land for the airport project were promised residential plots by officials and representatives at the time. However, this promise has not been fulfilled. Despite repeated appeals and even a court ruling in favor of the affected families, the issue remains unresolved. Nanjayya Math assured that he would personally bring this matter to the Chief Minister’s attention and push for the release of necessary funds.
