ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ (shivamogga), ಏಪ್ರಿಲ್ 04: ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ನಗರದ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ರಸ್ತೆ, ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕಸದ ರಾಶಿ ಬೀಳುವ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳನ್ನು ‘ಬ್ಲ್ಯಾಕ್ ಸ್ಪಾಟ್’ ಎಂದು ಪಾಲಿಕೆ ಆಡಳಿತ ಗುರುತಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.
ಇಂತಹ ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕಸ ಹಾಕದಂತೆ ನಾಗರಿಕರಲ್ಲಿ ಜಾಗೃತಿ ಮೂಡಿಸುವ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಆಡಳಿತ ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಬರುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಆದಾಗ್ಯೂ ಕಸ ಕಸದ ರಾಶಿ ಮಾತ್ರ ಕಡಿಮೆಯಾಗಿಲ್ಲ.
ಇದೀಗ ಪಾಲಿಕೆ ಆಡಳಿತವು ಇಂತಹ ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳ ಸೌಂದರ್ಯೀಕರಣಕ್ಕೆ ಕ್ರಮಕೈಗೊಂಡಿದೆ! ಸದರಿ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಜನಜಾಗೃತಿಯ ಗೋಡೆ ಬರಹ, ಚಿತ್ರ ಬಿಡಿಸುವುದು, ಗಿಡಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಕುವುದು ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ನಾನಾ ರೀತಿಯ ನಾಗರಿಕರ ಗಮನ ಸೆಳೆಯುವ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಚಾಲನೆ ನೀಡಿದೆ.
ಏಪ್ರಿಲ್ 04 ರಂದು 7 ನೇ ವಾರ್ಡ್ ನ ಕಾಶೀಪುರ ಸರ್ಕಲ್ ಬಳಿ ಗುರುತಿಸಲಾಗಿರುವ ಬ್ಲ್ಯಾಕ್ ಸ್ಪಾಟ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಗಿಡ ನೆಡುವ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಪಾಲಿಕೆ ಆಡಳಿತ ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಂಡಿತ್ತು.
ಹಿರಿಯ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಕರಾದ ಲೋಹಿತ್ ಅವರು ಗಿಡಕ್ಕೆ ನೀರು ಹಾಕುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಚಾಲನೆ ನೀಡಿದರು. ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಸ್’ಡಬ್ಲ್ಯೂಎಂ ತಜ್ಞೆ ದೀಪಿಕಾ, ಕಮ್ಯೂನಿಟಿ ಮೊಬೈಲೈಜರ್ ಗಳಾದ ಪೂಜಾ, ಕುಸುಮ, ಅಶ್ವಿನಿ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಮೊದಲಾದವರಿದ್ದರು.
Beautification of ‘Black Spots’ within Shivamogga Municipality Limits
Shivamogga, April 04: The municipal administration identifies places in Shivamogga city where heaps of garbage accumulate on major roads and public areas as ‘black spots.’ The administration has been continuously working to raise awareness among citizens to prevent dumping of waste in such areas. However, the piles of garbage have not reduced significantly.
Now, the municipal administration has taken steps to beautify these places! At these identified spots, initiatives such as awareness wall writings, paintings, planting trees, and other activities to attract public attention have been launched.
On April 04, at the black spot near Kashipur Circle in Ward No. 7, the administration organized a tree-planting program. Senior Health Inspector Lohith inaugurated the program by watering a plant.
On this occasion, SWM (Solid Waste Management) expert Deepika, community mobilizers Pooja, Kusuma, Ashwini, and others were present.
