ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ (shivamogga), ಏಪ್ರಿಲ್ 07: ನೈಋತ್ಯ ರೈಲ್ವೆಯು ರೈಲು ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ 16205/16206 ತಾಳಗುಪ್ಪ–ಮೈಸೂರು–ತಾಳಗುಪ್ಪ ಡೈಲಿ ಎಕ್ಸ್ ಪ್ರೆಸ್ ರೈಲುಗಳ ಹಳೆಯ ಮಾದರಿಯ ಐಸಿಎಫ್ ಬೋಗಿಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕಿ, ಅವುಗಳ ಬದಲಿಗೆ ಅತ್ಯಾಧುನಿಕ ಲಿಂಕ್ ಹಾಫ್ಮನ್ ಬುಶ್ (LHB) ಬೋಗಿಗಳನ್ನು ಅಳವಡಿಸಲು ನಿರ್ಧರಿಸಿದೆ.
ಈ ಹೊಸ ಸುಧಾರಿತ ಬೋಗಿಗಳ ಸೇವೆಯು ಏಪ್ರಿಲ್ 8, 2026 ರಿಂದ ತಾಳಗುಪ್ಪ ಮತ್ತು ಮೈಸೂರು ಎರಡೂ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣಗಳಿಂದ ಅಧಿಕೃತವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾಗಲಿದೆ. ಮೇಲ್ದರ್ಜೆಗೇರಿಸುವ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಯ ನಂತರ ಈ ರೈಲು ಒಟ್ಟು 18 ಎಲ್ಎಚ್’ಬಿ ಬೋಗಿಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಂಚರಿಸಲಿದೆ.
ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಎಸಿ ಚೇರ್ ಕಾರ್, ಐದು ದ್ವಿತೀಯ ದರ್ಜೆ ಚೇರ್ ಕಾರ್ ಬೋಗಿಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಹತ್ತು ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ದ್ವಿತೀಯ ದರ್ಜೆ ಬೋಗಿಗಳು ಇರಲಿವೆ. ಇದರೊಂದಿಗೆ ದಿವ್ಯಾಂಗ ಸ್ನೇಹಿ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿರುವ ದ್ವಿತೀಯ ದರ್ಜೆ ಮತ್ತು ಲಗೇಜ್ ಬ್ರೇಕ್ ವ್ಯಾನ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ಲಗೇಜ್-ಕಮ್-ಬ್ರೇಕ್ ವ್ಯಾನ್ ಈ ರೈಲಿನ ಸಂಯೋಜನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇರಲಿವೆ.
ಈ ಆಧುನಿಕೀಕರಣದಿಂದಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಕರು ಇನ್ನು ಮುಂದೆ ಮೈಸೂರು ಮತ್ತು ತಾಳಗುಪ್ಪ ನಡುವೆ ಸುಲಲಿತ, ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತ ಹಾಗೂ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಆರಾಮದಾಯಕ ಪ್ರಯಾಣವನ್ನು ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಬಹುದಾಗಿದೆ.
Talaguppa–Mysuru Express rail to Get Modern LHB Coaches from April 8
Shivamogga, April 07: The South Western Railway has decided to replace the old ICF coaches of train number 16205/16206 Talaguppa–Mysuru–Talaguppa Daily Express with modern Linke Hofmann Busch (LHB) coaches.
This upgraded service will officially begin from both Talaguppa and Mysuru stations on April 8, 2026. After the upgrade, the train will run with a total of 18 LHB coaches.
The composition will include one AC chair car, five second-class chair cars, and ten general second-class coaches. In addition, the train will have a second-class cum luggage brake van with facilities for differently-abled passengers, along with another luggage-cum-brake van.
With this modernization, passengers can expect smoother, safer, and far more comfortable travel between Mysuru and Talaguppa.
