ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ (shivanogga), ಜೂನ್ 30: ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಂಬರ್ ಪ್ಲೇಟ್ ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ಸಂಚರಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದ 74 ವಾಹನಗಳನ್ನು ಟ್ರಾಫಿಕ್ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ವಶಕ್ಕೆ ಪಡೆದ ಘಟನೆ ಜೂನ್ 29 ರಂಚು ನಡೆದಿದೆ.
ಸದರಿ ವಾಹನ ಮಾಲೀಕರ ವಿರುದ್ದ ಐಎಂ ಕಾಯ್ದೆಯಡಿ ಟ್ರಾಫಿಕ್ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಪ್ರಕರಣ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಪಶ್ಚಿಮ ಟ್ರಾಫಿಕ್ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆ ಆವರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ್ದ ನಂಬರ್ ಪ್ಲೇಟ್ ಇಲ್ಲದ ವಾಹನಗಳನ್ನು ಎಸ್ಪಿ ನಿಖಿಲ್ ಬಿ ಪರಿಶೀಲನೆ ನಡೆಸಿದರು.
ಈ ವೇಳೆ ಸದರಿ ವಾಹನ ಮಾಲೀಕರನ್ನುದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿ ಎಸ್ಪಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, ‘ಇನ್ನು ಮುಂದೆ ನಂಬರ್ ಪ್ಲೇಟ್ ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ವಾಹನ ಚಲಾಯಿಸುವ ವಾಹನ ಸವಾರರ ವಿರುದ್ದ ಎಫ್ಐಆರ್ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿ, ವಾಹನ ಮುಟ್ಟುಗೋಲು ಹಾಕಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗುವುದು’ ಎಂದು ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಟ್ರಾಫಿಕ್ ಇನ್ಸ್’ಪೆಕ್ಟರ್ ದೇವರಾಜ್, ಸಬ್ ಇನ್ಸ್’ಪೆಕ್ಟರ್ ಗಳಾದ ಸ್ವಪ್ನಾ, ಭಾರತಿ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಮೊದಲಾದವರು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.
Shimoga: FIR Warning for Driving Without Number Plate – SP’s Alert
Shimoga, June 30: On June 29, traffic police in Shimoga city seized 74 vehicles that were found moving around without number plates. Cases have been registered against the respective vehicle owners under the IM Act.
Superintendent of Police Nikhil B inspected the vehicles without number plates that were parked at the West Traffic Police Station premises.
During the inspection, the SP addressed the vehicle owners and warned: “From now on, FIRs will be filed against riders driving vehicles without number plates, and such vehicles will be seized.”
