ಭದ್ರಾವತಿ (bhadravathi), ಮಾರ್ಚ್ 30 : ಚಾಲಕನ ನಿಯಂತ್ರಣ ಕಳೆದುಕೊಂಡ ಖಾಸಗಿ ಬಸ್ ವೊಂದು ಸೇತುವೆ ಮೇಲಿಂದ ಹಳ್ಳಕ್ಕೆ ಬಿದ್ದ ಪರಿಣಾಮ, ಹಲವು ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಕರು ಗಾಯಗೊಂಡ ಘಟನೆ ಭದ್ರಾವತಿ ತಾಲೂಕಿನ ವೀರಾಪುರ ಸಮೀಪದ ಕಾಗೆಹಳ್ಳ ಬಳಿ ಮಾರ್ಚ್ 30 ರಂದು ಮಧ್ಯಾಹ್ನ 1 ಗಂಟೆ ಸರಿಸುಮಾರಿಗೆ ಸಂಭವಿಸಿದೆ.
ರೇಣುಕಾಂಬ ಬಸ್ ಅಪಘಾತಕ್ಕೀಡಾಗಿದ್ದು ಎಂದು ಗುರುತಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಘಟನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ 30 ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಕರಿಗೆ ಗಾಯವಾಗಿದೆ. ಬಸ್ ಚಾಲಕ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ನಾಲ್ಕೈದು ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಕರಿಗೆ ಗಂಭೀರ ಸ್ವರೂಪದ ಗಾಯವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂಬ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಲಭ್ಯವಾಗಿದೆ. ಎಲ್ಲ ಗಾಯಾಳುಗಳನ್ನು ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಸದರಿ ಬಸ್ ದಾವಣಗೆರೆಯಿಂದ ಚನ್ನಗಿರಿ ಮಾರ್ಗವಾಗಿ ಭದ್ರಾವತಿಗೆ ಆಗಮಿಸುತ್ತಿತ್ತು. ಕಾಗೆಹಳ್ಳ ಬಳಿ ಸೇತುವೆಯಿಂದ ಹಳ್ಳಕ್ಕೆ ಬಿದ್ದಿದೆ. ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಗ್ರಾಮಸ್ಥರು ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಕರ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಭದ್ರಾವತಿ ಅಗ್ನಿಶಾಮಕ ದಳದ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿ ಪ್ರಶಾಂತ್ ಎನ್, ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಗಳಾದ ಬಾಬು, ಮಂಜುನಾಥ್, ಹರೀಶ್, ಪ್ರಜ್ವಲ್, ಮಂಜುನಾಥ್ ಅವರು ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಭೇಟಿಯಿತ್ತು ರಕ್ಷಣಾ ಕಾರ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದರು.
Bhadravati: Bus falls off bridge into stream – many injured!
Bhadravati, March 30: A private bus lost control and plunged from a bridge into a stream, injuring several passengers. The accident occurred around 1 p.m. near Kagehalli, close to Veerapura in Bhadravati taluk on March 30.
The bus has been identified as a Renukamba service. Reports indicate that more than 30 passengers sustained injuries. Among them, the driver and four to five passengers suffered serious injuries, while others received minor injuries. All the injured have been admitted to hospital.
The bus was traveling from Davanagere towards Bhadravati via Channagiri when it fell off the bridge near Kagehalli. Local villagers rushed to the scene and assisted in rescuing the passengers.
Bhadravati Fire Department officer Prashanth N, along with staff members Babu, Manjunath, Harish, Prajwal, and Manjunath, visited the site and took part in the rescue operations.
