ಶಿರಾಳಕೊಪ್ಪ (shiralkopa), ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 23: ಬಟ್ಟೆ ಅಂಗಡಿಯೊಂದರಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಭವಿಸಿದ ಅಗ್ನಿ ಅವಘಡದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರೀ ಪ್ರಮಾಣದ ನಷ್ಟ ಸಂಭವಿಸಿದ ಘಟನೆ, ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 23 ರಂದು ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆ ಶಿಕಾರಿಪುರ ತಾಲೂಕಿನ ಶಿರಾಳಕೊಪ್ಪ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದಿದೆ.
‘ರೇಂಜ್ 1’ ಅಂಗಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಘಟನೆ ನಡೆದಿದೆ. ಬೆಂಕಿಯ ಕೆನ್ನಾಲಿಗೆಗೆ ಅಂಗಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಬಟ್ಟೆಗಳು, ಪೀಠೋಪಕರಣಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಇತರೆ ವಸ್ತುಗಳು ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಕೋಟ್ಯಾಂತರ ರೂ. ಮೌಲ್ಯದ ವಸ್ತುಗಳು ಬೆಂಕಿಗಾಹುತಿಯಾಗಿವೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿದುಬಂದಿದೆ.
ವಿಷಯ ತಿಳಿಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದಂತೆ ಘಟನಾ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಶಿಕಾರಿಪುರದ ಅಗ್ನಿಶಾಮಕ ದಳದ ತಂಡ ಆಗಮಿಸಿ ಅಂಗಡಿಗೆ ಹೊತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಬೆಂಕಿ ನಂದಿಸಿದ್ದು, ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಅನಾಹುತ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿದೆ.
ಶಾರ್ಟ್ ಸರ್ಕ್ಯೂಟ್ ನಿಂದ ಅಂಗಡಿಗೆ ಬೆಂಕಿ ಹೊತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡಿದೆ ಎನ್ನಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ನಷ್ಟದ ಪ್ರಮಾಣ ಎಷ್ಟೆಂಬುದು ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟೆ ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟವಾಗಬೇಕಾಗಿದೆ.
Fire at a clothing store in Shiralakoppa : Huge loss! | Shivamogga, August 23: A fire at a clothing store caused huge loss on the morning of August 23 in Shiralakoppa town of Shikaripura taluk in Shivamogga district. The incident took place at a ‘Range 1’ store. The fire gutted the store, including clothes, furniture and other items worth crores of rupees. It is learnt that items worth crores of rupees were gutted.
As soon as the matter was known, a team of the Shikaripura fire brigade reached the spot and extinguished the fire that had engulfed the store, averting further disaster. It is said that the store caught fire due to a short circuit, and the extent of the loss is yet to be ascertained.
